kirsten
Kirsten is a familiar face to our RBAC family. Her career with us began in 2001 after many years working as a preschool teacher, leading activities in a convalescent center, and providing customer service for PHS Insurance and St. Barnabas Health network hospitals.
Kirsten quickly became dedicated to holistic healing and inspired by seeing so many people helped at our center. She went back to school and became a certified massage therapist. Kirsten developed into one of our most respected and requested massage therapists.
In 2012, she returned to her role as office manager. Kirsten takes great pride in the care she provides at our center. You will see upon entering our office how she makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable, supporting their day with her sunshine, warmth, and smile.
michael
Michael has worked together with Shoshanna since her founding of Red Bank Acupuncture & Wellness Center in 1988. He manages the website, daily operations and marketing programs.
He first became interested in alternative healing techniques while living in Santa Cruz in the mid 1970’s. In 1982 he received certification at the Heartwood Institute, for therapeutic massage with specialization in shiatsu and acupressure. He was instrumental in the implementation of an acupressure program in the Santa Cruz School System that helped children with severe disabilities along with their families.
While earning his Pacific Oaks Master's degree in Human Development in 1985, he served as consultant and project coordinator in computer technology and health education for the Santa Cruz County school system. He then went on to work for over ten years in the Product and Marketing organizations of AT&T Computer Systems.
