tai chi & qigong healing

Thank you so much for your video. It is easy to follow and your movements are elegant and graceful. It seems as if your mind is very quiet as you are doing the movements, and that stillness comes through. Just wanted to let you know how appreciated your video and book are.           M.D.

I bought your book at Borders and am finding it very helpful.  Prior looks at books about qi gong were complex. I am now able to go through the warm up and the first set with only a few "peeks" for "what's next." I really do find it a stimulating practice and as a reiki master, it helps me hold more energy. Thank you.          S.T.

I have been suffering from Acid Reflux Disease for several years now. I went to various doctors with no results.  After discussions with a friend about alternative medicine, I found the Red Bank Acupuncture & Wellness Center. After my first session with my teacher, Shoshanna Katzman, I found peace. She understood where I was and where I needed to go.  She recommended acupuncture therapy and after several sessions I found significant improvement in this disease.  My personal life has also changed.  I am no longer a bundle of nerves.  In addition to the acupuncture, Shoshanna is giving me Tai Chi lessons.  To me this exercise is for mind, body and spirit. I am not the same person I was prior to meeting Shoshanna and I never will be.  I am more peaceful, graceful and focused and I have found inner strength.  I am thankful for the work Shoshanna has done in her life that enables her to help people like myself.

Thanks Shoshanna,          Barbara

Subject: Video arrived here today

I was amazed at the speed that some of the movements are performed. You and your husband have done a nice job and I agree the less said the better. Your book does all the talking that's needed. I know I will benefit even more now that I see when to speed up and where to slow down. Especially glad to hear the sounds as I was having a devil of a time trying to do it from the descriptions in your book. I was always asking myself is this the right sound? Now I know for sure and thanks again.

I have learned to do the Qigong movements from reading this book and have been doing Qigong for two months now. I feel much better. I just turned 75 and I’m thankful for the health I have. My blood pressure is good and I fish a lot down here in Florida. My wife is currently going through chemotherapy for a spot on her lung and she too is doing some of the exercises. The results are like mine and we will be getting even more benefits as we learn how to do the moves more correctly. I am feeling so good with the few exercises that I am doing. After practicing the Qigong movements and learning the acupoints I woke up one morning with a whole new lease on life and can’t tell you how well I am feeling. One thing I do know is that I wake in the morning and my body is a little stiff, like I had been exercising too much with push ups, weights and other exercises like that. It all goes away within a few minutes and that “special” feeling of well being takes over. As I said earlier, I’m 75 and I know this tired old body of mine pretty well. I don’t recall ever feeling so strong of mind and body. I must tell you that I scored a winning touchdown once in high school and I felt pretty good for days after that. I feel as good now as I did for that one wonderful moment in my life. I look forward to getting into Qigong deeper as time goes on. I’m sorry I didn’t know about it a long time ago. I am so thankful to Shoshanna for being there for all of us with her book and video. I was so amazed at the speed that the movements are performed upon seeing the video. Shoshanna and her husband have done a nice job. There are few words on the video and I agree that the less said the better. The book does all the talking that’s needed. Learning when to speed up and where to slow down from the video is providing me with more benefit. I was glad to hear the sounds on the video as I was having a devil of a time trying to do it just from the descriptions in the book. I was always asking myself is this the right sound, but now I know for sure.          JS / Florida Keys

I have your book and reading the text and doing some of the movements. I feel much better. I just turned 75 and I'm thankful for the health I have. The blood pressure is good, I feel fine and fish a lot down here in Florida. My wife is currently going thru chemotherapy for a spot on her lung and she too is doing some of the exercises. The results are like mine and I know with your video will be get even more benefits.

I am feeling so good with the few exercises that I am doing that I couldn't resist telling you about it. I'm waiting as you know for my video and then I will learn how to do the moves more correctly. I'm only guessing now as you can well imagine. I began to get into acupoints yesterday and woke this morning with a whole new lease on life. Can't tell you how well I am feeling. I started with Qigong around the middle of May. One thing I do know is that I wake in the morning and my body is a little stiff, like I had been exercising too much with push ups, weights, exercised like that. it all goes away within a few minutes and that "special" feeling of well being takes over. Is that normal to be a little stiff? As I said earlier, I'm 75, and I know this tired old body of mine pretty well. I don't recall ever feeling so strong of mind and body. I must tell you that I scored a winning touchdown once in high school and I felt pretty good for days after that. I feel as good now as I did for that one wonderful moment in my life. I look forward to getting into Qigong deeper as time goes on. I'm sorry I didn't know about it a long time ago. Thanks for being there for all of us.         Anonymous
