I Qi, You Qi, We all Qi

Qi is the life force that exists through all living things. It is the motivating force behind every movement and function within our bodies. With it we feel vibrant, without it we feel tired and without focus. When Qi flows freely and fully it creates an energetic power that keeps us balanced and able to act in appropriate and meaningful ways. for Healing Body, Mind & Spirit
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese form of meditation through movement: a series of graceful Chinese exercises, the roots of which reach deeply into the medical and spiritual philosophies of Asia. Though practiced by some as a subtle and profound martial art, most people embrace it for it's health benefits. The daily practice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong exercises retards the aging process, opens the flow of vital energy, develops self defense, promotes balance & enhances health. 

This introductory workshop includes a demonstration of classical Tai Chi and Qi Gong, a talk about energy flow, discussion of yin/yang and simple healing practices that you can do on your own at home and/or at work.  Through group participation  you will learn simple, authentic Tai Chi & Qigong Chinese exercises that you can practice anytime, and anywhere you have "standing room". A few minutes of these traditional exercises practiced on an ongoing basis will increase energy throughout the body and facilitate healing, provide stillness and relaxation to your physical and emotional well-being.

Qi Gong: Chinese Exercises for
Healing the Body, Mind & Spirit 
Qi Gong is a system of traditional Chinese breathing exercises which cultivate energy, facilitate healing, and provide relaxation to your body, mind, and spirit. They are simple to learn and can be practiced in a small space. A few minutes of these traditional exercises practiced on an ongoing basis can revitalize your life. You will have the opportunity to watch, learn, and practice Qi Gong exercises in this lecture.

Bring your stories, feelings, & concerns as we weave the fabric of our life together.

The Sacred Vessel of Womanhood
Gathered in 'circle' we will pass the 'talking stick' allowing each woman a  choice to voice and embody her 'beingness'.  Expressing ourselves artistically through drumming and song we will be given the opportunity to go within and re-experience or reclaim the beautiful essence of our own 'sacred rhythms'.  Together through the power of energy medicine, tai chi and the collective circle we will replenish, ground and restore our psycho-spiritual selves and physical bodies.  Experiential exercises will be utilized allowing each woman access to her own 'innate healer'.  Our sacred vessels will be left nourished and filled with the earthiness and peacefulness of our own precious selves. The collective spirit of all women in the circle will be used to reaffirm and ground the sacred energy of the feminine. We will celebrate together our shared womanhood roots.
